Working to turn Scotland into a nation of Citizen Investors using their money to make local investments with local impact
We are interested in developing a new form of investor - a ‘Citizen Investor’. Ordinary people who do not consider themselves to be investors, but who may have some savings in the bank. We offer them the opportunity to re-purpose and re-direct a small percentage of their savings into community bonds.
Investing in community bonds, re-directs their money from a passive state, where it sits accumulating little or no value in current or deposit accounts. Community bonds re-purposes money for more active use by investing in local economies with associated employment opportunities, providing local goods and services whilst retaining and circulating money within communities.
In return citizen investors get a financial return, whilst also supporting their local community.
